Social determinants of health are all of the conditions of an individual’s surroundings that affect their general health. The Mission of the CSSDoH is to identify and research social conditions that create barriers to achieving healthy and prosperous lifestyles.
We then apply our research to create actionable impact programs that will start a positive pendulum of change to reduce barriers to healthcare, enhance treatment engagement, and ultimately improve health and quality of life. Our vision is to empower communities through research and outreach programs focused on health, wellness, and science.
